Opex has low rates for both interstate and intrastate. They charge a $2 minimum usage fee to residential and business customers for any month their usage is less than $20. The rates are the same for residential and business customers.

Is the Opex service direct dial?

All Opex plans are direct dial services, which means that you don’t have to dial an access code (such as 10-10) before dialing a number. To dial a long distance number, you need only dial “1” and then the area code and telephone number.

How long after I sign up is my service activated?

Please allow 4 to 10 days for the switch-over to take effect. OPEX sends you an email when you make your first call on their network so that you will know that the change has been made

Not a high-volume caller? Beware of “Unlimited Plans”
We strongly advise residential callers not to be fooled into buying unlimited calling plans through the many offerings made, if you are not a high-volume long distance user. You will likely be paying for minutes you’ll never use. We have found the Opex plan to be an excellent choice for residential callers who want to pay only for the calls they make.
